The GX2 release coating eliminates the need for oiling prior to first use.
Combining our in-house hard coat anodizing process with our proprietary water-based stick resistant coating, GX2, this pan requires less time to maintain, lasts longer, cooks better and is easy to clean up.
The pre-seasoning release surface is created by applying several coats of our liquid sealer and baking in an industrial oven. The sealer is actually absorbed into the pores of the GX2 finish and only requires an initial wash before use. The result eliminates the need for messy oiling, is very durable and is NSF acceptable.
