If there’s ever a time to indulge, it’s during the holidays, and the final party of the season is New Year’s Eve! Out with the old, in with the new, they say, but the LloydPans innovation team has rounded up some of its favorite traditional New Year’s Eve and Day desserts to round out a year like none other.

Dark Chocolate Truffles
Individuality and personalization rang through almost every baking trend in 2020, as consumers were looking for something unique offered just for them. And, if they were better for you, even better. These vegan Dark Chocolate Truffles are a great addition to your kitchen, as they offer a mix of celebration, individual portions and a vegan spin.

Lemon-Date Bars
Citrus also trended this year in baking, and these lemon bars aren’t just for the spring and summer months. Treat your customers with a bright end to 2020 with a delicious look toward a sunny future.

White Chocolate Fudge with Cranberries and Candied Citrus
At the beginning of 2020, Nutritional Outlook predicted that bitter, sour and tart profiles will “soar,” with cranberry added to the list of hybrid, complex combinations in foods and beverages. Add to that the citrus craze from above and the hit that fudge is during the holidays, so we had to add this White Chocolate Fudge with Cranberries and Candied Citrus to our must-haves list. For a unique spin on the recipe, add spiced cranberry instead mixed with the chocolate, another item the site predicted would take off this year.

Coffee-Caramel Swiss Roll
Martha Stewart notes that Bûche de Noël cake is a favorite for Christmas time, but if you want to ramp up the recipe for New Year’s Eve, add the caffeine! This coffee-added take will assure your customers stay up until midnight to ring in 2021.

Almond Good Luck Cake
We need all the luck we can get, and tradition has it that this cake is made with the new year written on top in almonds and is traditionally eaten on New Year’s Day. A lucky coin is baked inside, and whoever gets the coin is rewarded with a gift and blessed with good luck in the coming year. We found a great bakery in the city of luck, Las Vegas, that not only makes an amazing cake, but infuses it with amaretto, also a huge trend in 2020. A fitting, fresh start.

Bake your way into 2021 with LloydPans baking pans! We wish all of our blog readers and customers a successful, happy 2021 with an abundance of good bakes.
