LloydPans Customers Make PETA’s Top 10 Vegan Pizzas

Instead of bringing home the bacon, PETA’s Top 10 Vegan Pizzas in the U.S. list honors mouthwatering plant-based pies that showcase how delicious and easy eating pizza the vegan way can be.

LloydPans customer, Slice of Vegas Pizza Kitchen & Bar, won top honors with Non Meat Lovers — loaded with vegan mozzarella and meat-free “meat” balls, pepperoni, sausage and ground beef. We may need to make a stop when we’re in Las Vegas for Pizza Expo!

Other LloydPans customers who tempted PETA’s tastebuds:

• 20th Street Pizza, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania — The Balboa
  20th Street is a vegan pizzeria, but PETA’s knockout nod features crushed vegan meatball, cherry tomatoes, pistachio pesto and cashew cheese. 20th Street then tops it with a bright bite of arugula, chili flakes and extra virgin olive oil. 

• Spak Brothers, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania — The BBQ Seitan Pizza
  There must be something in the Pennsylvania dough! Meat seitan, red onions and tangy barbecue sauce is topped with cilantro. To ensure prime vegan-ness, make sure to order with vegan cheese and vegan ranch dressing. 

• Pizza Head, St. Louis, Missouri — The Vegan Meat Lovers
  Non dairy cashew cheese is topped with soy-based pepperoni, sausage and bacon. Pizza Head also recommends vegan ranch as a divine dipping sauce. 

Slice of Vegas will receive a framed certificate from PETA for its award winning Non Meat Lovers pie.
